Undoubtedly, wild mushrooms and truffles are one of the delicatessens that Nature offers to us. They are natural wonders greatly valued and truly esteemed for their variety and exquisite flavors, as well as for their natural properties and nutritional qualities.
Laumont, as an expert in mycology and respectful towards Nature, harvests the best species in the optimum moment. We do such thing to preserve their habitat and to bring the fruits of a land full of flavors to your table.

Laumont offers you an extended range of Mushrooms and Truffles.

Origins

Wild mushrooms are a seasonal product. So as to serve the needs of our clients all year long, we have specialized in the importation of very reliable and high quality wild mushrooms from all over the world.
In the case of truffles, we import Tuber magnatum ( white truffle ), only found in Italy. Another variety we also import is the Tuber indicum ( Chinese truffle ). The rest come from national harvest.

Harvesting

Harvesting is one of the most important operations in our premises. A suitable harvesting of wild mushrooms ensures the best appearance and the maximum quality of the product. Because of this, we have an extended professional team specialized in harvesting wild mushrooms and truffles.

Selection

Once the product is in our premises, our staff starts the process of selecting and canning the wild mushrooms by hand. However, the pieces not suitable for sale are thrown away, the dirt is removed and non-edible parts, weeds and dirt waste are discarded. Once all this operation is done, we classify the product according to its size, so that our clients find the right size for each culinary use.
Each wild mushroom and truffle that comes from Laumont is in the best condition for cooking.
